WINNER FLOW
It is placed in the mouth to blow through it. It is possible to regulate more or less resistance, between the ranges 2.5 and 0. This device allows us to work, through exhalation, the abdominal and pelvic floor muscles.
The winner flow is positioned perpendicular to the face and should be squeezed between the lips and not between the teeth. It comes with several options to regulate the expiratory flow rate, so you can choose the caliber that best suits you. Calibers range from 2.5 to 0. It is always recommended to start by setting the caliper to 1 and try to blow regularly (without taking a breath) for 4-5 seconds. If this time interval is not reached, it is recommended to reduce the caliper to 0.8, 0.6, 0.4 or 0.2.
0.8 is represented by one dot.
0.6 is represented by two vertical dots.
0.4 is represented by three vertical dots.
Otherwise, it is recommended to increase the caliper aperture to 1.5, 2 or 2.5.
The “Winner Flow” is a functional re-education technique that uses abdominal-perineum-sphincter stimulation with regulated expiration.
This technique focuses on the active work of the abdominal muscles, the diaphragm and the perineum. It is simple, intuitive and non-invasive, suitable for all patients with the objective of re-learning to correctly use the abdominal drawer for long-term protection and to regain good abdominal-perineo-perineo-respiratory reflexes.
It can be used with breathing alone, or in a more active and complex way combined with other techniques, such as adding exercises and movements with the TAD Method or on the proprioception trunk.
Like other methods of pelvic floor physiotherapy, it is a non-invasive way to strengthen and care for the pelvic floor and enable it to perform its functions properly.
A good pelvic floor health will improve the quality of life of people, for example, avoiding pain in sexual intercourse, urinary incontinence or other problems arising from abdomino-pelvic dysfunctions.
Is it useful?
To teach the correct use of the abdominal cavity for long-term protection.
